Our Mission
Founded in 2020, we strive to help single mothers living at or below the poverty level transition into training programs that will allow them to achieve financial independence
Our Goals
Transition single mothers living at or below the poverty level into training programs that will allow them to achieve financial independence.
Identify high-risk single mothers, and provide them with parenting education and counseling resources to maintain maternal-child bonds.
Place every applicant with a mentor with similar struggles and life experiences. This person will be trained in mentoring and will be trained in coping mechanism guidance.
Provide group courses such as meditation, maternal and child yoga, mother and child dance, nutritional cooking, and weekend hiking trips to encourage healthy living and bonding.
To provide every applicant with freedom from financial strain so they can focus on reaching their goal: to provide housing, child care, and all resources to each maternal-child unit for the duration that they are in the program, so long as career milestones are being met.
To take high-risk maternal-child units out of unhealthy living situations and provide them with safe, sanitary housing in which they can flourish and grow.
The goal, ultimately, will be to have a plot of land with individual living units on it. The facility will have onsite child care, an art and craft room, a game room, an exercise room, a communal kitchen, and an outdoor play set.
“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child”
